Brendan Connellan is a Dublin native and a recent arrival in San Francisco from New York City.

He is a playwright, screenwriter, director, producer and actor.

His novel STRUT AND FRET is due in 2021.

He has written, directed and produced 8 sold-out plays in New York, primarily at Theatre Row off Broadway.

He’s been fortunate to have worked closely with some very accomplished actors along the way.

NADIA MANZOOR from “Burq Off”, ALESSIA SUSHKO from “House of Cards” and “Billions”, NAOMI MCDOUGALL JONES from “Imagine I’m Beautiful” and “Bite Me”, JACK O’CONNELL from “The Sopranos”, ED MALONE from “Juno and the Paycock” and NIAMH HYLAND from “Artists Without Walls.”

He is a graduate of Stella Adler Acting Studio and Labyrinth Master Class and has been coached by Reed Birney (Tony Award), John Gould Rubin, Stephen Adly Guirgis (Pulitzer Prize), Clark Middleton, Bob McAndrew, Charles Goforth, Christa Kimlicko-Jones and Antonio Merenda.

He has told stories at “The Moth” and performed stand-up comedy all over Manhattan and Brooklyn with comics from “Louis CK”, “Dave Chapelle”, “The Daily Show”, “Conan”, “Flight of the Conchords” and “Letterman”.
